A party atmosphere reigned at the Lambertville-New Hope Chili Cook-Off Sunday, before a table fire evacuated the hall
Chili season has really kicked in, and kicked up the heat (which we can certainly use on these deep-freeze days). In the past week, Middlesex County College's series of community cooking classes opened with a chili-cooking demonstration by Skylark Fine Diner Chef Jeff McNamara, and the Twin RiverTowns Project and River Horse Brewery co-sponsored the 15th annual Lambertville-New Hope Chili Cook-Off.
The cook-off was the capstone event in the river towns' weeklong Winterfest celebration that also included Taste of Winter, a sampling of various dishes from five of the best restaurants along the Delaware. See more photos from that event, the chili cook-off and MCC's chili demo HERE.
