River Horse Brewery's representative, Hunterdon Distributors, is talking up the latest seasonal brew to come out of the big brick building in Lambertville, Oatmeal Milk Stout:
"Fresh out of the tanks from our hippo-loving friends in Lambertville is the ever-so-tasty Oatmeal Milk Stout. If you missed out on the Belgian Freeze because we sold out in ONE day, here is your chance to get at least one winter seasonal from our Jersey friends this year. We would highly recommend whipping up a batch of oatmeal raisin cookies to enjoy while you slosh down a few bottles. Strong notes of chocolate, coffee, vanilla and roasted malts dominate the nose. While the initial taste is sweet, smooth and creamy it finishes strong and bitter. Oatmeal Milk Stout is now available in 6-packs and draft!
And don’t forget about River Horse’s year-round brews including the Special Ale, Hop Hazard, Tripel Horse and Lager, which are all fresh in 6-pack format.
